1. Prepare yourself
When you file your taxes in Spain you often need various documents during the process.
If you do not have all the information available it is OK, we will help you gather everything we need during the process.
If you want to prepare yourself, you can start by gathering the following:
- Collect a list of all your income sources, for example salaries, pensions, dividends, share sales etc. No matter from which country you have received the income.
- Most times you can get a yearly certificate from employers, pensions providers etc, these are excellent sources of information.
- You should have your NIE number and Residencia card available and IBAN number for your Spanish bank. If you have filed taxes in Spain previously you should have a copy of the tax return.
- You need the Referencia Catastral of the home where you live
